This a great book for older preschool kids who may enjoy the challenge of finding the hidden capital letters on each artfully-decorated page. While some letters are easy to spot in the images, others require some creative thinking. Some of the transportation-themed vocabulary, like nautical and zeppelin, may be too advanced for younger kids but is a good fit for the curious minds of soon-to-be kindergartners.

Since the book is targeted at an older audience than most alphabet books, it seems to be meant more as a hidden object interactive book than a simple learn your ABC's. With various forms of transportation creatively and colorfully displayed on each page, children will love being able to use their imagination to see the hidden letter within each image. It can be a game to see who can find the most letters in five minutes or who can find the letter first on a page.

I think the drawings are very creative and elaborate and the vocabulary represents a wide selection of transportation methods. For the child who loves to be on the move, this book showcases the many exciting ways a person can travel, whether it's by swooshing down a ski slope or kayaking in the river. The added bonus of finding the hidden letter can be a fun game to play. I even found some of the letters to be difficult to see so the book should be able to provide hours of fun for you and your child. For those tricky-to-find find letters, a solution page is added at the end of the book with the letters bolded in white.

This is a fabulous picture book that helps kids to look "outside the box". Each page has a new alphabet letter hidden somewhere in the picture by using objects from that picture to form the letter. (You can see the large "A" formed out of the boat ramp in the book cover's picture.) My son made sure that I didn't skip any pages as we worked through the alphabet from A to Z! (It even has a cheat sheet page in the back!) He loved being able to find some of the letters right away, and worked very hard at the challenge of trying to find the other letters!

I think Little One Books would be a great place to visit for your children and your teacher's Christmas list this holiday season! These books and videos are a fantastic addition to your classroom, as well as home library! They've got so many great ones to choose from.

This book is great! It’s definitely coffee table worthy, which isn’t usual for children’s books. The book travels through the alphabet, with each page highlighting a different letter. The letters are slightly hidden in the pictures – The letter A is formed by the loading ramp of a cruise ship (All Aboard), the letter B is formed by the arches of a bridge. The last page of the book "reveals" the letters on each page. Because of the search factor, I think this book has the ability to grow with your child. I know it will be one of the books we keep simply because of the great artwork!
