Join in on the fun and laughs with Dooke Duck, his little sister Dottie, The Barber Shape Quartet and the Shoe Box Theater as your little one learns about shapes, colors, cause and effect, reasoning and early development problem solving.
Your child will go on a playful adventure with Dookie and Dottie Duck as they watch colorful and shape-filled lessons with the Barber Shape Quartet, and experience theatrical dance parties with the Shoe Box Theater. This video is full of fun shapes and colors that will capture your child's attention as they journey through each segment to the tune of both upbeat and gentle music. The dialogue is minimal, but the images are plentiful. Your child will see familiar animals, objects, and shapes that will bring the world around them to life.
As your child watches they may interact by pointing out the familiar things they are seeing, or you may find they will want to dance to the music. No matter how they chose to participate, this video creates an excellent opportunity for you and your child to have fun together. You can help to keep them focused by pointing out the different objects. You may even want to add in a few of your own sound effects. These types of interactions will encourage your child to watch more intently, and will help to associate learning with fun and comfort.
When I watched this video with baby Willa, she loved walking around the coffee table and rocking to the beat. At time she would get distracted, but when I would participate by simply changing my tone of my voice and pointing excitedly to the screen, she would be totally engaged and laughing up a storm. She definitely preferred watching it together.

Baby Prodigy Company founder, Barbara Candiano-Marcus created this video because she was trying to find a solution for her young daughter's colic. However, after much research, she decided that what she really wanted to do was help parents raise smarter, happier children.
The video shows parents fun activities they can engage in to help stimulate their child's learning. The characters, Dookie and Dottie Duck entertain children using everyday objects found in any household.
Parents, grandparents and caregivers should interact with the child while he or she is watching the program. Since the activities are easily replicated, parents can participate while the video is being played.
Candiano-Marcus is the author of the parenting book Baby Prodigy: A Guide to Raising a Smarter, Happier Baby, which is published by Random House. She is also a parenting expert and regularly appears on television and radio programs where she discusses parenting issues. In the past, she has produced children's programming. The music on this video is specially orchestrated classical music by Emmy award-winning composer, Neil Argo.
