Come along with Curious George as he discovers the wonders of the animal kingdom! He is curious about all kinds of things - he loves to explore, build and play. And when George dives in, he sometimes ends up with more than he can handle. But he always manages to pull himself out of any jam and sometimes even saves the day. This video features eight shows from the hit PBS Kids TV series and will entertain your child over and over again.
Each episode features George's adventures with a new animal, from a baby panda in a zoo to a real bear in the countryside. While George loves learning about these new creatures, he also learns valuable lessons, such as practicing patience.
There is a wide variety of animals portrayed in this video, giving children exposure to lesser-known critters. Honey bees, bunny rabbits, and even homing pigeons make an appearance here. And this video offers plenty of entertainment for those children ready to explore the behaviors and habitats of animals. George tracks animal prints, learns about pollination, and much more.
My five-year-old nephew loved watching Curious George interact with and care for other animals. But we particularly enjoyed the episode "Bee is for Bear." My nephew knows how important honey bees are to a crop'a pollination, and this story helped him understand just what "pollination" means - in kid terms.
