Look, Look!
Look, Look!
Look, Look!
by Peter Linenthal

This sturdy board book, full of high-contrast black-and-white cut-paper art perfect for staring at, is just the thing for the eyes of the youngest babies. A few words in curving red type on each spread describe the scenes -- a car races, a cat stretches, flowers bloom -- and extend the book's age appeal so that it will be fascinating to older babies, too. Striking and stylish, Look Look! is the ideal first board book for babies just beginning to look and learn.

Peter Linenthal's Look Look! is part book and part art. Its high contrast images are all in three colors: black, white, and red, and all of them are absolutely beautiful. Created with cut paper, the book is very detailed and contains a small amount of text, so the message is kept simple.

Your baby will enjoy exploring this sturdy board book. The images will be intriguing to a baby's eyes because the colors are so bold. Though the story is simple, it contains a very sweet ending, which creates an opportunity for cuddling with your baby.

This was one of the first books that my nephew Joshua and I read together when he was a baby. I remember him staring at the images with huge, saucer-like eyes. Then he would explore the bold pictures by touching them. This is a high impact book that is bound to have an effect on your little one.
