Babies will make the sounds the animals make. Bill Martin Jr. and Eric Carle are two of the most respected names in children's education and children's illustrations. This collaboration, their first since the classic Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? (published more than thirty years ago and still a best-seller) shows two masters at their best.

This is another in the bear series from Bill Martin and Eric Carle. In this collaboration, they focus on noisy scenes at the zoo with all sorts of animals making a bunch of wacky noises. Carle's typically lovely drawings make these scenes come to life.

This is a small board book, which makes it perfect for small hands. Your child will enjoy handling it and pointing to the different animals. There is not too much text, and it is patterned in a way that makes it accessible to young children. It also introduces a lot of funny sounds and new animals to your little one.

I read this with my niece Audrey and we had a lot of fun mimicking all of the animal sounds. Snorting like a hippo was her personal favorite. Our afternoon reading time got pretty noisy but was a whole lot of fun.
