With 10 great episodes that feature nearly three hours of nuts and bolts action, aspiring builders can revisit their favorite adventures with Bob, Roley, Dizzy, Muck, Scoop and the rest of the Can-Do Crew. Ready to tackle any project, Bob the Builder and his machine team demonstrate teamwork, positive thinking and the importance of getting the job done right. Can they build it? Yes They Can!

The Best of Bob the Builder features more than two hours or Bob and his friends in episodes and bonus material including games. The mixed media presentation is accentuated with fun and original rock music throughout the episodes and singing Bob's catchy theme song.  Whenever Bob or the song asks, "Can we build it?" your little one will love loudly singing along, "Yes, we can!" Bob and his friends show children in every episode that thinking positively, planning well, working together and taking their time to do the job right will result in success.

There are so many lessons and positive messages taught by Bob the Builder and his many friends that you can easily apply them to your little one's life. For instance, the first episode shows the importance of facing your fears head on when Lofty has to go onto a high bridge despite his fear of heights in order to save Spud the scarecrow. With encouragement from Bob, Lofty succeeds and realizes he is more capable than he thought. Teamwork is also a prominent motif in any Bob the Builder adventure; Muck and Bob have to help Travis the tractor when he is stuck in mud, Dizzy and Muck work together to round up Farmer Pickles' sheep when they escape overnight, and the characters regularly work together to finish all sorts of projects on Farmer Pickles' land. Your little one can also learn all about recycling. Bob teaches his friends that 'reduce, reuse, and recycle' goes far beyond the traditional glass, aluminum, and paper products. Bob recycles an old dish rag by using it now to clean his tools, he reuses old building pieces when creating new buildings, and he even points out that you can recycle a computer! A fun game to play with your little one is to think of creative ways to reuse and recycle products around your house - or even some old toys!

My three-year-old friend Sam enjoyed learning what an architect was from Bob the Builder. Sam has watched the movie several times over and is fascinated by the model city the architect made. Now, when Sam plays with his blocks or Legos, he will tell us he's playing "Ack-tec" (which is 'Sam' language for 'Architect').  He also loves to respond to anything now with "No prob, Bob!"
