This is a very new title that has been hailed by critics as a must read for children. Recipient of the E.B. Bonny Becker's story focuses on the friendships that are found in the most unexpected places. In this case, that means the teakettle, the refrigerator, and even the cupboard!

This book has a longer storyline but is so funny and well paced that your child will stay engrossed in its action. The story of friendship is timeless, and your child will relate to it as they are starting to develop relationships with their peers. The funny mouse character who just does not know the meaning of giving up will produce a comical reaction as you read the story together. You will definitely be laughing as the action of the story unfolds.

I really love reading this story with my niece Emily. It gives me the chance to make her laugh hysterically by giving the bear a really grumpy voice and the mouse a squeaky British accent. Becker's dialogue is so funny that she makes the act of reading aloud an absolute joy. Though this story is a new one, I believe it will be a future classic that truly deserves a space on your child's bookshelf.
