Yikes Eddie's in for the surprise of his life when he discovers that his teddy bear has grown much too big to cuddle. But there's fun in store when Eddie meets up with a real bear who has just the opposite problem. Could it be a case of mistaken identity? This fast-paced comedy of errors is guaranteed to have children - and bears alike - looking very closely at their teddies.

This book is full of beautifully illustrated and mysterious images that will pull your child into Eddie's journey as he searches for his teddy. The short rhymes will create a rhythm that your child can quickly, and easily identify and follow throughout the book. As the story unfolds it becomes clear that a real bear of a much larger size has confused Eddie's teddy for his own, and vice versa.

The repetitive images in this book will have your child instantly involved. They will be able to identify the different sizes of teddy bears in comparison to their owners, and how each size represents a different character - the boy or the bear. Each page captures the journey with images of Eddie, the bear, and their drastically varied sizes. As teddy and owner find their way back to each other, the silliness of sizes and shapes will have both you and your child enjoying each and every turn of the page.

When I read this book to Teo, he loved to point out the teddy bears every time one appeared on the page. As the story progressed he would also tell me which bear belonged where. This seemed to be his favorite thing about the story - finding all the bears, real or teddy-like, and following the story's colorful, rhyming pages back to where all such bears belonged.
